Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard" was announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference on June 6, 2005, and was shown to developers for the first time at the 2006 Worldwide Developers Conference on August 7, 2006. There Steve Jobs stated that Apple plans to "ship it this coming Spring", referring to the second quarter of 2007. The Apple website continues to state that it will be available in "Spring 2007"....
